We're looking for a Game Designer to work on our current and upcoming game projects.

👽 Your profile

You are a game designer generalist, comfortable with getting your hands dirty in engine and putting on whatever design hat is necessary to contribute to a game project. This ranges from concept work and market research, to narrative design and systemic game design.

You are able to communicate and explain your ideas to multi-disciplinary teams clearly. You're interested in bringing and consolidating new ideas from your life and interests into the industry. You are a strong vision keeper and able to direct projects with a small team.

👩‍🚀 What you would be doing

You would work with the other game designers on new game concepts and prototypes, helping to define the game's narrative as well as player interactions, game loops and systems. For that you would write concept and design documents. You would make presentations, do market research, prepare pitches and of course work directly on prototypes to evaluate and iterate on your ideas.

Once a production starts you would help ensuring a cohesive vision (some arts and crafts might be involved). You would make sure gameplay supports narrative and the other way around, and that everyone within the team is on the same page about what kind of game we are making.

Depending on the kind of game you would design gameplay and systems, write stories, bios, quests and dialogs, as well as implement, test and balance everything. You would be working with tools like Excel, Notion and Miro, but also implementing and tweaking directly in engine.
